NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Justin Ebach was named SESAC’s Songwriter of the Year during the organization’s annual Nashville Music Awards on Sunday night.
Ebach, who won the accolade for the second year in a row, was recognized for his chart-topping hits from the past year that include “Good Girl,” recorded by Dustin Lynch and “Here Tonight,” recorded by Brett Young.
“Beautiful Crazy,” by Luke Combs which has was the longest-running number-one hit on the Country Airplay chart, and which was co-written by Combs, Wyatt Durrette III, and Robert Willford was named SESAC Song of the Year.
Warner Chappell Music took home the Publisher of the Year award, marking their second such victory since 2017.
The award ceremony included music from Blanco Brown, who performed his hit “The Git Up” and Jimmie Allen, who covered his hit “Best Shot” on piano alongside co-writer and fellow award winner Josh London.
Hosted by Shannan Hatch, SESAC’s Vice President of Creative Services, the Nashville Music Awards took place Sunday night at t Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
