Along with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum are one of the most revered couples in Hollywood. The two met on the set of Step Up in 2006, and have been insanely in love ever since–and not afraid to show it. (Just recall that super sweet tribute to her that he posted on her birthday last December.)

In fact, if they weren't so incredibly adorable and attractive, their endless gushing on social media would get kind of annoying.

But anyone who, admittedly unhealthily, stalks their social media can't ignore that, lately, there's been a significant lack of gooeyness between the two.
Back in February, Jenna told Health that when people tell her she and her hubby are the perfect couple, she "want[s] to scream."
"I think a couple needs to be conscious and to want to do the work and be willing to look at the parts of you that need work," she said. "Both of us have been pretty aware and willing to do that. We've always had the same values. But we're not perfect! Are you kidding? We fight like other couples, we disagree about things, we have days where we don't really like each other."
Now, granted, fighting between couples is totally normal, and, at the time, her comments came off as a noble attempt to pull away the rose-colored veil of social media and be more relatable by showing they have the same issues as everyone else.
But the phrase "we have days when we don't really like each other" feels more telling when you consider that, as of late, the usually inseparable couple don't seem to be spending much time together.
The two were conspicuously absent in the avalanche of lovey-dovey tributes from various A-list couples on Valentines Day.
Jenna-Dewan celebrated Galentines Day with chocolate and the girls.

Channing didn't post anything at all apart from a few videos of him motorcycle racing a few days prior.

For most couples, this wouldn't be a red flag, but for these two, it's a little out of character. After all, this is a guy who once cut a press tour short in order to fly from Berlin and surprise her for V-Day in a classic rom-com romantic gesture:
"I come home and I walk in, I come back from set and I was like, 'What is going on?'" she told Ellen in 2016. "There was, like, things in the kitchen that was weird. And then I was like, wait, there's roses. And he put roses all the way up to the room which was so sweet."
Then, on Sunday, she attended the 90th Academy Awards with a female friend instead of Channing, and wore a super-sexy red dress with a thigh-high slit that seemed to be intended to make headlines (which it did).

When asked why she was flying solo to the most glamorous night in Hollywood, Jenna told Entertainment Tonight that he was staying home to babysit their 4-year-old daughter, Everly. Which is fine until you consider that these two can certainly afford a babysitter for the only Red Carpet event in which who you bring as your date gets a lot of attention.
Obviously, this is all conjecture. Perhaps they've just been busy lately and doing their own thing; no one ever said married couples had to be attached at the hip. Or maybe they're having a little rough patch, which would be totally normal, especially after 9 years of marriage. But we're all a bit skittish after Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced they were separating and killed our faith in love, so fingers crossed for these two!
